Information & Guidelines

The YKTV Festival is the authentic music festival for youth under 18s. To ensure the YKTV Festival is a fun, enjoyable and safe experience for all, we need to ensure the following information is followed by all:


Entry to the YKTV Festival on the 28th of May 2022 is restricted to people between the ages of 13-17 only. If you purchase a ticket, you confirm on the date of the YKTV Festival you will be13 years of age and not older than 17 years of age. If you are aged 18 years, or older on the date of the YKTV Festival, you will not be eligible for this event, and on this basis you will be refused entry to the event. In this instance your ticket will not be refunded. 


As a condition of entry to the YKTV Festival you will be asked to present an acceptable form of proof of age in order to enter the venue. Acceptable proof of age identification must be current and can be any of the following:

  • State Issued Drivers License or Learners Permit
  • School Identification
  • Passport
  • Proof of Age Card
  • Birth Certificate



The YKTV Festival is a strictly under 18yr event. We do not allow, condone the use of alcohol, cigarette's, or drugs - These items are strictly prohibited. All Attendees who arrive intoxicated will be refused entry to the venue. In this instance there will be no refunds.

This is strictly a NO DRUGS/ALCOHOL under 18s music event. Any attendee found to have consumed, or possess, alcohol or illegal substances will have their parents &/or guardians contacted. 



The security and safety of all attendees is our highest priority. In order to secure and police this, it is a condition of entry to the YKTV Festival that you maybe subjected to the following:

  • Proof of Age Identification checked at security screening, and at random times at staff/security discretion.
  • Bags will be checked at security screening upon entry. 

The Queensland Police Service will be in attendance throughout the duration of the event as will professional security and staff of YKTV Festival


The YKTV Festival staff & security reserve the right to prohibit items which they believe threaten the rights and/or safety and enjoyment of all attendees and/or artists. Banned items must be surrendered and will be destroyed post event.
Banned Items include, but are not limited to:
  • cigarettes, alcohols;
  • any item that could be used as a weapon eg. firearms, slingshots;
  • drink & food cans (drinks and food will be available for purchase at the event);
  • chairs & stools, any temporary shelter;
  • fireworks, lighters etc;
  • glass (including bottles);
  • large bags or large backpacks;
  • laser pointers, or other items deemed or considered dangerous or capable of causing injury, nuisance to the public, that could be used to distract, or interfere with any performer or other attendees enjoyment. 



Your digital ticket is your ticket to the YKTV Festival and must be presented upon entry at the gate to gain entry in to the venue. Hardcopy tickets, supplied by YKTV Festival will also gain entry in to the festival.
